Steve Carell to Star in David Menasche's "The Priority List"

As reported in Variety, Steve Carell will star in the movie made after the book, "The Priority List, A Teacher's Final Quest to Discover Life's Greatest Lessons" written by David Menasche.

About five years ago via facebook, I learned of David's condition. He attended Nova with me in the 80's and was always a very thought-provoking, insightful kid who loved to debate. I learned he had gone on to teach at Coral Reef in Miami and had a huge fan-base of students who learned Literature lessons as well as life lessons.

About two years ago, there was a movement on Facebook to raise money to assist David in his journey to travel across the country. He reached out to past students and slept on couches from state-to-state.

The news came out today that Steve Carell will star in this Warner Brothers Production. Wow! What a legacy David is leaving. As a fellow Titan, we are all very proud of you.

Yours truly,

First off though, I would like to say that this sounds like it will be a really interesting film, and as a Steve Carell fan, I am sure that I will go see this movie in theaters. However, I was wondering if you'd be able to elaborate a little more on David's condition, or is this something that I just need to find out from the book and/or movie?
