Pembroke Pines is joining the list of new locations for Trader Joe's stores set to open in 2014.
Trader Joe's officials said it will open a 12,500-square-foot grocery store at the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road in the Pembroke Crossing shopping center. The chain will take over a portion of space formerly occupied by retailer Cost Plus World Market.
So far, Trader Joe's has plans to open four locations in Palm Beach County. Those will be in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens.
Last month, Trader Joe's opened its first South Flotion in Pinecrest to much fanfare.
