Within the equestrian and outdoor community of Parkland lies the community Riverside Acres. Aptly named, each of the 16 estates sits on an acre of land and were custom built between 1980 and 2000. The streets of Riverside Acres are lined with Pine Trees and Cypress Trees reminiscent of Old Florida. Like other communities in Parkland there are a number of parks available for sporting and the school system is one of the best in South Florida.

Parkland is located on Sawgrass Expressway in between Boca Raton and Coral Springs. Residents of Riverside Acres have their pick of the city or country within a short drive. This neighborhood also does not have a formal association, bestowing an amount of freedom on homeowners to build anything from barns to guesthouses.
